Wikipedia now has a great article on Everett Rogers’ Diffusion of Innovations http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diffusion_of_innovations If technology touches your career, this research provides some excellent perspectives and tools. It has been used by some of the giants of high technology, and notably Geoffry Moore used it to develop his book series “Crossing the Chasm”.
